Creative photographer (from Cape Town) whose works show authentic influences from his exposure and experiences in various cultures. With a focus on what he calls 'classic' photography: focusing on the play and beauty of light, form and composition - most of his works represent a truthfulness to the aesthetic qualities of lifestyle and scenery rather than depicting a social or environmental message -often evident in some more mainstream South African works. In this clearcut portrayal of true life forms, free from the blanket of oppression - one senses a strength of freedom of mind on one side - while delivering an 'unbent' view of form, requiring a universal response on another more visual and aesthetic beauty. Of his best so far are the 'Boyjetti', 'Last Catch' and 'NYC street'. With single works trickling in slowly compared to the voluminous capabilities of the digital age, one senses that he sticks to his creative design plan - and that each picture is a true reflection of his commitment to integrity - drawn out from arduous assessment of quality and achievement. In his words the message is clear: "The perfect picture doesnt need everything, but must lack absolutely nothing."
